Building off the motif of bubble blowing Yirui Jia has explored in previous work, Soft Candy Soft 02 depicts the performance of two acrobats bending dramatically before a rainbow background. Their bodies morph and swerve into the shape of two large bubble gum forms. Both figures blow the hard into spheres so large their bodies are almost encompassed by the gum and are bent under the immense air pressure.
