Lu Yang has been interviewed by Gareth Harris for the Financial Times this week, in the article ‘Is AI coming for art fairs? This android artist has a proposal - with a twist.’
As part of this year’s Art Basel Hong Kong Encounters section, COMA in collaboration with De Sarthe, Hong Kong, will be presenting a digital pop-up store, hosted by DOKU the digital avatar of Chinese artist Lu Yang.
“At the store, collectors can buy DOKU’s AI-created artworks in the form of blind boxes - 108 unique digital pieces called Concept Void.”
