Young-jun Tak - Spectrosynthesis Seoul

South Korean-born artist Young-jun Tak is included in ‘Spectrosynthesis Seoul’, an exhibition at the Art Sonje Center in Seoul, South Korea. On view from now through to 28 June, 2026.

As suggested by its title—a combination of “spectrum”, referring both to the phenomenon of light dispersing into rainbow colors and to diversity, and “synthesis”, the process of bringing ideas and objects together—the exhibition brings together 74 artists who have explored queerness across the boundaries of time, space, and institutions. Centered on Seoul as its site,  Spectrosynthesis Seoul unfolds the present moment of queer art and its future possibilities.

Presented by Art Sonje Center and Sunpride Foundation.
