Congratulations to Australian artist Eleanor Louise Butt who will undertake a month-long artist residency at the Australian Tapestry Workshop in 2027, supported by Creative Australia.
The Australian Tapestry Workshop brings artists and highly skilled weavers together to translate contemporary practices into handwoven tapestry, creating space for experimentation across image, material and scale. During the residency, Eleanor will explore how her paintings can be reimagined through this collaborative and time-intensive process.
