New York-based artist Nick Modrzewski has been interviewed for Impulse Magazine’s latest article ‘In Conversation with Nick Modrzewski’, by Oscar Bloomfield.
“I think I’ve been striving for a visual language that speaks of the body’s entanglement with language, law, society, etc., but without always announcing the body through direct representation—it’s often buried under layers of paint and texture, or partially visible.”
