No Shadow Under A Second Sun : Group Presentation
-
COMA is pleased to present No Shadow Under A Second Sun, a group exhibition featuring a diverse cohort of international artists exhibiting with the gallery for the first time, on view from 11 July through 15 August, 2026, at 37 Chapel Street, Marrickville, Sydney, NSW 2204. Participating artists include Emma cc Cook, KV Duong, Harminder Judge, Sonya Kelliher-Combs, Anna Lauree, and Yuji Ueda.
Our current world is emerging from a period in which trust in institutions has thinned, economic life has become increasingly unstable, climate pressure has intensified, and shared meaning has steadily eroded. At the same time, a proposed new civilisation is beginning to take shape through technology, design, ritual, image-making, and new structures of power. No Shadow Under A Second Sun enters this unstable founding moment, where the future has not yet settled into form. Its monuments remain unfinished, its ceremonies are still being invented, and its symbols shift before they can be fixed. Between collapse and construction, the exhibition considers how new values are authored and how authority is aestheticised as societies imagine themselves into existence.
